As we know, men will sometimes dress in the exact same way to hang out with the guys and attract women. What we also know, however, is that this probably shouldn’t be. Gym clothes and socks/sandal combinations shouldn’t happen around members of the opposite sex you are trying to attract. The good news is that you don’t have to change yourself, just alter your style a little to be acceptable for meeting women. Follow these tips for help in your lady search.
Tip number one: you don’t have to stop wearing your favorite band’s concert tees. In fact, many women love that kind of slouchy look on men. The trick is to just make sure it’s clean. Unlike your beer stained hangout shirts, concert tees you wear when meeting girls should be cleaned and groomed, so that she can see the shirt without stopping at a distance because of the smell.
Tip number two: socks and sandals are never okay. Well, never okay in the presence of any woman you could conceivably call wife some day. Try buying a nice pair of flip flops with leather or woven straps and wear them without socks.
Tip number three: khakis are your friend. Remember those concert tees? What about your favorite holey sweater or button down long sleeve? Try wearing any of those with khakis and you automatically get groomed and cute points with the ladies. This is because khakis are a step above jeans and a step below suit pants – a perfect balance for an old concert tee – and they look good on virtually everyone.
